Very Much

I came home early, feeling dizzy
Laying down to soothe my fever
Closing my eyes to stop the pulsing
That was reverberating between my eyes.

Then before me, layed out pristine
Was a feild of ice all edged with trees, whose branches
Were weighed heavy with the snow.
Smoke billowed to the time of my respiration
Though I failed to feel a chill

And there he stood before me
With three others, scarecely noticed
In a coat to mask his female figure
He, rolling snow in corduroy hands,
Begun the game

He, deadpan to his lover,
Ran and ducked behind a drift
Laughed and smiled and seemed, even
To glow
He, dead to the world,
Dragged me in

Rough Princess - Part 1by ~ReijiGin

This is by far one of my most favorite pictures ever taken of me. I'm just a few months past my eighth birthday here-- Which is around the time I think I was just so pretty! :* Lookit! So pretty XD

I loved that pink dress in fourth grade, and up until just a few years ago I had no real sense of how clothes worked (I once wore high-heeled dress shoes and track pants together in seventh grade). But when I was this age I loooved being outside. I owned nothing but hiking boots and jeans and all-- EXCEPT for this dress. And when I felt like wearing the dress, I was not careful with it, as you can tell.

This branch is actually pretty high up in the air. I still love climbing trees! It's surrounded by thorns, too, if you can tell. Haha.

Aside from looking away from the camera, this wasn't posed at all. I was sitting like that and my dad thought it was neat so he borrowed his friend's camera and took a picture. Don't you just love it when that happens? X3

Once again I apologize for all the funny dust. My scanner does that to photos. Grr.

You were a very cute child! That is a lovely dress, i had one similar to it when i was little that i loved and i eventually wore it till it didnt fit anymore.
